It’s a team work!

When you plan your wedding, firstly you set the date, book the venue and then a lot of time, you will look for your celebrant and photographer. I think that’s probably the most common order for the couples to plan their wedding.

When I first meet my couples, we have a friendly chat over coffee to find out more about their big day, show more of my work, explain how much time we need for the photos, where to go for the location shoot and how the packages works etc.

I also ask all my couples if they have already booked other wedding suppliers such as the venue, celebrant, florist, make-up artist, DJ, MC or wedding car.

I do that, so I will know who I will be working on with on the day.
And if they haven’t booked them, I send a list of “ Katsu’s favourite suppliers list”.

I feel that it’s great for the couples and it’s good for me as I much prefer to work with great suppliers that I know of rather than some strangers.

At the end of the day, the wedding is a team work. That’s what I think.

Especially during the ceremony, your celebrant, venue manager, videographer(s) and the photographer like myself must work together as a team.

During the reception party, your MC, venue manager, DJ videographer (s) and photographer needs to communicate well, also.

This is why I send out “Katsu’s favourite suppliers list” when the couples book me.

I assume that a lot of suppliers that I love are similar to the list that you get from your venue. That’s because not only they are great at what they do, but also they are great as a team!

At the end of the day, the photographer is the one that see the weddings from right to the beginning to the end! Yes, I see everything!! Good or bad…

So please just don’t google to find your suppliers if you are looking for ones.
Please ask me or your venue!

FYI… If you are having your ceremony at the church, a lot of time the minister does his own thing during the ceremony…. So I will need YOU to talk to the minister prior.
