Wedding Gown

Wedding Gown

Formal/traditional: Full length, white gown with a long train. Complete with a veil and all the matching accessories to give the bride a touch of high class elegance.

Semi formal: Full length gown, but perhaps without a train or just a shorter one and maybe a veil. Dress could be white, off white or other colours.

Informal: Anything is acceptable from  a mini to a cocktail dress. You may want to match your attire with a theme, like jeans for a cowboy and western wedding. A trend is developing where brides are selecting dressed that can be worn again.

These days, purchasing wedding dress seems to be more popular in Sydney. A lot of rental dress places has been closing down over the years due to less demand from both brides and grooms. It’s definitely cheaper option if you purchase your wedding gown in Sydney. So you can select your favourite wedding gown and get them to tailor for you.
Make sure that you get your dress at least 3 months before your wedding which means that you will beed to order it around 6 months before your advance.

My favourite dress to photograph is mermaid style with a long veil. They look stunning in the photos.

What to wear

What to wear

Wedding attire is always going to a matter of personal preference. With some careful planning and the right advice, every bride and groom can look their absolute best on their wedding day.

Begin consulting bridal couturiers and dressmakers at least 12 months before the wedding. You will also need to allow sufficient time for alterations, final adjustment and even shipping delays. The hiring of any wedding attire for the groom ca be done closer to the wedding date-around 6 weeks before the wedding.

Look in the yellow pages under “bridal and evening wear”, search the Internet for wedding websites with service provider database such as ABIA, flip through bridal magazines, attend bridal shows, and ask friends and family for recommendations.

Choosing your wedding dress is one of the hardest things it can be but again, it would be one of the greatest moment when you are preparing your wedding.
Ask your photographer to show their recent work to get some ideas of what other brides have been wearing these days. One of those big princess style are not on these day I feel.
Marmaid style or Tulip styles are great ones to choose I think! See the photo below!
